Cook Up a Storm
Sameera on her passion for cooking:
■ “ I love to cook healthy, soul food
everyday. I prepare everything— from
tofu and broccoli, to Goan sausages
and fish curry, to salads. I love having
friends over, serving up sangria and
home-made food.”
■ “After an awards function, I stood
in the kitchen in m y dramatic gown,
marinating chicken for expected
guests. W hen my driver came to drop
m y bags, he thought I had gone mad.”
■ “ I have a robust, functional kitchen
that can sustain daily use by dom estic
help. I always clean up after I cook.”
